Welcome to the Hutchinson AgriScience Department!
MISSION:
The Hutchinson AgriScience Education Program promotes agricultural career opportunities, leadership development and service to the community through classroom instruction, FFA and Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects.
OBJECTIVES:
1. All AgriScience students will be trained in modern agricultural competencies based on industry input.
2. All AgriScience students will apply and experience the actual hands-on concepts and principles learned in the AgriScience education classroom, through the Supervised Agriculture Experience Program.
3. Through the FFA and other recognition programs, AgriScience students will gain leadership skills, career exposure, and recognition for their achievements.
4. The Hutchinson AgriScience Education Program will integrate projects from the Hutchinson community and other Hutchinson schools.
5. The Hutchinson AgriScience Education Program will cooperate with other agriculture organizations in the promotion agriculture opportunities.
